Supreme Court rules on Cell Phone searches |

Today the U.S Supreme Court ruled in Wuries vs U.S ( Masachusetts case, and Riley Vs California,
that Police Officers may not search cell phones without first obtaining a warrant.
In the Wurie case police had arrested wurie for a drug sale. He had two cell phones on his person. The phones were subsequently searched nd as a result Probable cause was obtained to search Wuries residence, where more drugs ad firearms were found.
